About training

Professional Scrum Developer three-day training will show you how agile engineering practices help to sustain high-quality of software in a dynamically changing environment. During the simulation-based workshops, through new challenges and discussions, participants will learn how to meet quality standards while delivering business value - the clock is ticking, the client is waiting!

Over the 3 days, students gain a real-world view of what it is like to build software with Scrum. Throughout the course, students collaborate together as a team in a series of Sprints where they apply modern engineering practices, and use the Scrum framework to cope with changes. There is a key focus on having students learn how to develop increments of potentially releasable functionality from a realistic Product Backlog.

For whom?
The Professional Scrum Developer course is intended for all members of a Scrum Development Team; architects, programmers, database developers, testers, and others with some technical knowledge. The class focuses on using technology to deliver software in Increments. We also suggest that you read through the PSD Subject Areas.
Examination process
All participants completing the Professional Scrum Developer course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) assessment. The industry-recognized PSD certification requires a minimum passing score.
PMI Personal Development Units
All students of Professional Scrum Developer class who have a certificate issued by Project Management Institute (e.g. PMP) and are willing to renew it, can claim 21 Personal Development Units (PDUs). Points are earned for course attendance and not for passing a assessment.
